Al last, "The Jazz Theory Book" in italian, has arrived. I think it's the best jazz theory book I have never seen and it's on the list of "Recommended basic jazz library" in "Jazz Times". I want to tell you that his great reputation is well-earned. In its aproximatly 400 pages you don't find only jazz theory but also many examples obtained from real solos and jazz songs. A very complete book that speaks about theory, improvisation, harmonization, song and repetorire. It doesn't lack useful advice, exercises, how to practice and how to memorize songs.
