It's very hard to resist the temptation to buy a tribute to John Coltrane CD. If the CD is performed by Conrad Herwing it's quite impossible. Of course playing Coltrane's music is a challenge even for great and talented musicians such as Conrad Herwing and Brian Lynch. They meet this challenge by interpreting the music of Coltrane in latin style and idiom. The result is amazing and extraordinary for two main reasons:
the mastery of the musicians and the versatility of Coltrane's music. The CD is full of great and excellent solos. I recommend it.
